About Caution Taping
Caution Taping started as an idea from one of the original founders of the tapers. We have no title or code of ethics we follow. Maybe in the future but not now. Well, two guys went to a little hardware store in West Sacramento, the hometown of the tapers. A roll of caution tape was spotted and purchased. Then it was all history. Everything was taped. First cars of people we don't like, then people that we know and love and finally we went random. Drive by taping was an everyday occurrence. Once during the last week of school we taped off an entire street. The word went round and people found out this wasn't a one time thing. I guess we can be called serial tapers.
Nothing but adrenalin until funds and time went short and The Mick got a couple of jobs. For the summer taping went on hold. Now we're in a new school year and getting bored. Recently a fresh new roll was purchased and the saga continues. We're going to bring new info, pictures and stories on taping. The future looks bright... bright yellow.
People frequently ask why we do what we do. They say it's a stupid waste of money and dumb. But it's all for fun baby! And making people laugh a little. Caution Tape doesn't cost too much so it's not a total waste of money. It's one of the greatest things we happen to come across. The look of a person's face the next time we see them. Also hearing the complaining and whining and stories of how people were driving down and street and saw four cars caution taped. It's nothing but greatness...
